Vitamin B12 is one of the important nutrients that our body requires to carry out the most essential functions. A latest study has revealed that about 25 percent of the people in the developed and developing nations have are deficient in this vitamin. If you are experiencing lethargy and unaccounted weakness for a prolonged period of time then the chances are that you may also be this vitamin deficit. People who lack this vitamin in their body tend to get tired very easily.

Vitamin B12 is required by our bodies for the generation of energy, for the formation of blood, for DNA synthesis and for the formation of myelin. In fact, the study has also revealed that one of the biggest reasons for the lower blood levels is the lack of vitamin B12. For the strong immune system, you need to have sufficient levels of RBC. For this to happen, your blood must have the required amount of B12 vitamin. If this is not the case, your immune system will weaken and you will be more vulnerable to contagious diseases. Carrying out day to day functions becomes difficult due to the lack of this vitamin.

Here are some symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency:

-Weakness in the muscles
-Feeling of fatigue
-Mercurial mood
-Temporary memory loss and other memory related issues

There are chances that you may already be B12 deficient without you even having any knowledge of it. Vitamin B12 is mostly found in the lean meats, eggs, dairy products, fruits and vegetables.
